Winner! Camp Herrlich's Before and After School Programs are the School Age Program of the Year

We are so proud to announce that the Camp Herrlich before and after school programs have won the School Age Program of the Year award for the second year in a row from the Child Care Council of Dutchess and Putnam, Inc.

“This award recognizes the exceptional work you and your team do every day for children and families in our community” says Himali Pandya, Executive Director of the Child Care Council.

Jess Vanacoro, Associate Executive Director of Camp Herrlich said of the programs “I am grateful every single day for the amazing work our staff are doing, the creative programming, and for the families who trust us with their children on a daily basis.”

Thank you to Rain Hubbell, program director, and Heather Duben, site director, for their strong leadership, organization, and creativity, and to the staff for consistently showing up to care for our campers with such diligence and love. It takes special people to run childcare programs and we do not take them for granted.

Camp Herrlich will send staff to the Child Care Council’s annual Gala garden party this year to receive their award and celebrate with their peers in the child care industry.
