Environmental Education
Camp Herrlich... the perfect place to experience all the wonders of nature. For more than 20 years, we have provided an outstanding environmental education program for a variety of public, private and parochial school students throughout the Northeast.
We have a low ropes adventure course, too... the perfect tool for team building and increasing individual self esteem. You can also choose from a comprehensive environmental education course list custom-tailored to fit you curriculum needs. Courses (more than 100 of them!) range from pond ecology to Native American culture to survival skills and much more.
Our facilities are clean and comfortable, our teachers are experienced professionals who truly care for their subjects and your students. Camp Herrlich has always received the highest praise from teachers, administrators, parents and children.
State Aid:
If you are a public school in Putnam, Westchester, Dutchess, Rockland, Ulster, or Greene Counties, you may be eligible for state aid through PNW BOCES to offset the costs of attendingCamp Herrlich.
